Let's change the world for the better

Greetings to all! Five lucky children have been chosen to be delegates of the U.S.A. Our job is to represent the U.S.A. at all of the concerts and gatherings. The delegates are: Irwin Tendler from New York, Marta from New York, Anastasia from California, Elan from New York, Vironica Gorelik also from New York. Irwin Tendler is a student at the Juilliard Conservatory because of his talent in playing the trumpet ( in his 4th year). He also sings, plays guitar, as well as the drums. Veronica Gorelik has been singing since she was 7 years old and participates in the choir at the Metropolitan Ballet. Elan sings, photographs, not to forget that he is a D.J.. Marta is an actress as well as a trained model. We are all very grateful to join the other 46 countries at the International Children's Festival "Let's change the world for the better". July 23, 2008 was chosen to be the national day of the U.S.A. At 8:00 the flag of the U.S.A. rose to the sound of the anthem played on the trumpet by Irwin Tendler. The honor of lifting the flag fell to Veronica Gorelik. Irwin Tendler gave a speech in English, while Marta translated to Ukraine. Not to forget the speech in Russian given by Elan. At 5:00 the U.S.A. participated in the International Fair. The U.S.A. booth was constantly crowded due to all the interesting objects distributed, some of the being: flags, brochures, national food, etc. At the Fair Vironica sang "God Bless America". Later that afternoon Irwin Tendler played Tchaikovsky's "Vocalise" on the trumpet. But the climax of the day was the national concert of the U.S.A. at 8:00 where Veronica sang "Once upon a December". Towards the end of the concert Irwin Tendler played "Take The A Train". Thank you dear readers and we the delegates beseech you to leave comments.
